There is something special about sitting around a campfire. The warmth and security offered by the flames transport us back to our caveman past.  If you want to cook using the embers then the safest and most efficient option is to use a portable camp fire. These come in all shapes and sizes, with some grills you place over the campfire, others that self contain the fire and can be used in open fire restricted areas.
