Snugpak Stratosphere Bivi Shelters can be quickly pitched to provide individual protection from the elements.
The lightweight single skin design incorporates a waterproof PU coated nylon flysheet that has an impressive 5 metres hydrostatic head, with an even tougher groundsheet offering 8 metres hydrostatic head, all tape seamed.
Two collapsible aluminium poles create a self-supporting canopy around the head and shoulders for extra room, whilst the six reinforced pegging loops around the perimeter allow you to tension the shelter to help prevent water pooling.
Entry to the shelter is via the right hand side 3/4 length zip, that includes a roll-away No-See-Um Mesh window. Behind the head area there is also a mesh covered vent for improved air circulation.
When not in use, the bivi shelter can be packed into its own compression sack (including tent stakes), minimising the storage area.
