Sea To Summit Event Ultra-Sil Compression Dry Sacks keep your kit dry and contained without burdening your pack with unnecessary weight.
Based on Sea To Summits award winning Event compression sacks, these dry bags are 40% lighter thanks to the use of Ultra-Sil® 30D siliconised high-tenacity CORDURA® nylon fabric in their manufacture. This high strength fabric has a hydrostatic head of 2 metres, with double stitched taped seams. Event fabric on the base eliminates the need for a purge valve as this highly breathable and waterproof fabric allows air and moisture to escape, but is impervious to water and air passing back through.
To guarantee your kit stays dry, just roll the top of the dry bag over three or four times and click the buckle shut. If space is at a premium then use the compression straps to compact the contents and push air out through the base. Please be aware that removing air from your dry sack will lower its buoyancy.
