The scratch resistant acrylic base plate incorporates a range of scales in mm and inches, a magnifying lens and luminous markings, whilst the easy-handling Dryflex™ rubber rotating bezel features a fixed declination correction scale as well as a patent-pending red/black north-south lines, and a clinometer for measuring slope angles.
Also included with the expedition compass is a detachable neck lanyard with two scale prints, and a slope card for detecting avalanche risk and for determining how challenging your journey will be.
