Silva Ranger S Mirror Compasses are a firm favourite of backpackers and mountaineers.
The easy-handling Dryflex™ rubber rotating bezel provides extra grip for use with gloves, and comes with a use-anywhere declination scale. The lightweight acrylic base plate incorporates a range of scales in mm and inches, and also a magnifying lens for detailed map work.
The large sighting mirror contains a notch at the top for taking accurate sighting bearings as well as a 45-degree angle assistance. When not in use, the hinged mirror closes flat over the bezel for extra protection, providing a compact and lightweight accurate sighting compass that can be easily stored in a pocket.
Also included with the mirror compass is a detachable neck lanyard with two scale markings.
